Happy Weekend! I failed miserably at keeping up with my weekly poetry post. I’m still going to try to post poems on a semi regular basis, and I would like to start writing them again. Hopefully sharing my work will bring back that inspiration. 😊
Cycle
My heart would start relapsing,
my conscious would stop reacting.
I would dance in the fire again.
My brain would be screaming,
but my soul would be bleeding,
and the cycle would repeat over again.
The truth and lies collide,
and the pain eventually subsides.
I vow to never let it happen again.
This one was written 9 years ago. I hope you enjoy. I have a pretty busy weekend ahead, but I will try to post again this weekend. My main goal is to work more on Alter Reach.
