NaNoWriMo!

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a great Halloween. I actually was able to wear my wig one more time to work. That was a ton of fun.

Today is November 1st, otherwise known as the first day of NaNoWriMo. If you’re unfamiliar, NaNoWriMo = National Novel Writing Month. It’s a contest with yourself, where you pledge to write 50,000 words in the month of November. The prize is just that – you wrote 50,000 words in 30 days. Some of you may be aware, I participated in NaNoWriMo in 2015 and 2016. Alter Reach would NOT be anywhere near what it is today if I hadn’t. This year, the only difference will be that Alter Reach will FINALLY be ready for editing. After so many drafts and edits, I will finally have a complete novel that I’m ready to start the beta reading and editing processes with.

My plan for this blog remains the same; update as frequently as possible. I will let you know my current word count at the end of each blog I post. I’m so excited to share this story with the world. It’s been a little over two years since I started, and I never actually thought I would ge this far.
