Review:
Ravishment is an intriguing start to a historical mystery series. It’s set in 17th Century England, and James Walker did a marvelous job transporting the reacer back in time. This felt very well researched, which added to the realistic feeling.
I enjoyed the first person narrative. It helped me feel part of the story and it also allowed me to really get to know the characters, time period. It was immersive.
Love how quickly paced this novel is. I couldn’t guess the mystery and it was really well written.
Give this one a shot.

in the last year publishing Ravishment, which is whodunnit, set in 17th century
England. Finally, this was followed by Aliza, my love, which is set in Nazi Germany.

Loved your review. 🙂 I, too, liked the first-person POV of Jane. I also liked how the author emphasized the challenges Jane had to face because of her gender.
