High school soccer star Lindsey Anderson was at the top of her game with graduation approaching and a full-ride soccer scholarship offer in her hand. Then she dropped dead on the soccer field, only to wake up in the body of a teenage sex-trafficking victim. No one believes who she really is. Not even her dad. Chased by her new body’s drug-dealing pimp and rabid parapsychologists out to dissect her, Lindsey searches to get her body and her life back before graduation day. Can her BFF and the high school nerdy boy she detests help save her life?
Not Myself Today is a fantastic YA Thriller. I very much enjoyed this story. Muriel Ellis Pritchett knows how to draw a reader into a story. The story starts off where we are sort of in the dark and as the story unfolds, I was on the edge of my seat.
Lindsey and Rachek have an awesome friendship. I love to see a reallynwell writen friendship in a novel. The characters felt real, and this was definitely a character driven novel.
The way this story ended, I assume there will be a second novel. I think the plot was well paced and I found this difficult to set down
Overall, a good read. Give it a shot.
