Review:
The Angels is a fantastically written nightmare. Three women under the thumb of gangster, Marcus. Author, Alex Kane holds no punches. She doesn’t delve into gruesome detail, but there is enough information to show what these women are put through, and quite frankly, I set this book down feeling in awe of the strength of the characters and terrified that this is an all too real possibility.
This one kept me on the edge of my seat. I instantly cared for the women, and I was very concerned for their safety. A testament to this author’s writing ability.
Dark, uncomfortable, but also a book I couldn’t set down. I highly recommend this one.
