When a zombie apocalypse ravages the world, the vampire Rise rescues human survivors to feed his coven. But apocalypse survivors are not the type to be merely food. Nor could they ever befriend the coven’s lone human, the beautiful and pampered Cypriot.
When Warwolves, an ancient order of vampire hunters, infiltrate the rescued survivors, Rise resolves to purge all threats to his vampire race. The world, although decimated, seems ripe for rule. Rise could set history on a new path, with the rise of one individual.

Review:
Rise of One by Dixon Reuel is an incredible book. It is the first in the Blood Brute series and it’s a cool mixture of zombies and vampires. I thought this was such a unique plot and it was an awesome read.
The cast of characters are complex. I am so impressed with the character development. I loved earning about the Owl acoustic and the web of relationships between them
The atmosphere builds this awesome tension and sometimes claustrophobic feeling as you read through this book. It drew me right in and I was immersed.
This is a book that has everything you’d want. Highly recommended!!
