Review:

Rae Shaw’s A Chance Encounter hits the ground running from the beginning, and doesn’t really slow down. I had trouble setting it down. In fact, I read most of this book in one sitting.

The writing style is tight, and easy to read. I really enjoyed the style because the words flowed quickly.

There are lots of twists and turns in A Chance Encounter. I didn’t expect the answers I was getting.

The characters were well crafted, and I liked reading the alternative points of view. Rae Shaw was able to keep each character different enough, that it wasn’t difficult to tell them apart.

I enjoyed A Chance Encounter and would recommend giving it a shot.

Rachel is based in the North West of England. She read her first grown-up detective novel at the age of eleven, which proved to be a catalyst for filling many shelves with crime books, which still occupy her home and grow in number whenever she visits a book shop.
As well as crime, Rachel likes to unplug from the real world and writes mysteries that have a touch of magic woven into family secrets.
