Review:
Search for the House of Dreams by Alison Burke is a story of love, deception, and family. It takes a look into a broken family, and though there is a lot of distress, it is a complex and intriguing read. .
The plot is really addictive. It’s something I can’t explain, but I didn’t want to put this down. I think the writing is on point, which drew me into this story and kept me there.
While I didn’t relate well to wome of the characters, I think they were well developed. This is still very character driven, and it kept me invested in the story.
I enjoyed this and would recommend it.

I was born in Lancashire and started my career by training as a State Registered general nurse. Later, I joined the army and became an officer in the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. On a posting to Malaya, now Malaysia, I found my true love. This was an ideal setting for a marriage with young children, and now my memories are a wonderfully rich source of material for my writing.
