Review:
The Lies I Tell by Joel Hames is an edgy thriller that head me on the edge of my seat. I love the short chapters and the dual timeline. The pacing was perfect for this story, and I was invested from beginning to end.
When dual timelines are written well, I am always so.impressed. I love the experience of following Lisa now vs the past. It is a unique way to build a character and it was done well.
Suspenseful and snappy, The Lies I Tell is a great read with great characters. I enjoyed this and will keep an eye out for more from this author.
