You’ll need to read books one and two in the Summerville series in order to understand Cruel Summer!
I’m really enjoying this series. It has something for everyone. It’s YA, with some romantic suspense and mystery. L.L. Hunter has crafted an intriguing plot that has kept me invested all the way through.
The mystery wasn’t easily guessed. I was hooked trying to figure out what was going on. I really enjoyed the characters, too. They felt real and it helped the plot flow.
Overall, Cruel Summer is an excellent read. If you’d like a series that gets better with each book, I’d recommend this one.
