Gorgeous, intuitive, musical, Damien changes everything. The attraction is undeniable, and when a string of unfortunate incidents brings them closer, Damien’s patience and understanding awaken a longing for something Dani believed unattainable – a future.
But when past and present collide, Dani’s fears are pushed to the limit, and with the future hanging in the balance, is love enough to save Dani?
Review:
Romantic suspense is slowly becoming one of my favorite genres. Broken by K.M. Harding is a victim to survivor story that really tugs at the heart strings.
The romance takes centerstage in Broken, and it is a slowburn love between Dani and Damien. I rather enjoyed the slower pace, because it allowed the relationship to develop realistically, rather than insta-love.
Dani’s back story is tragic and Damien has a past of his own. Both characters feel realistic to me, because of how much we get to learn about them through the plot of this story.
There are suspenseful moments, but for the most part, Broken is about love and healing. It is penned well, and I enjoyed it. If this is a genre you enjoy, I’d recommend Broken.
