Review

I love cats, so with a cover like this, I k ew I was going to check out Dr. Susan’s Reign by Katerina Degratte. The plot is very intriguing and I think this was a pretty good read!

Cat and Maori are great characters. I think this is where this book shines. Each character is richly developed and I found myself cheering for them almost immediately. The characters drive the plot forward and have a purpose. I love books that are character driven and this is.

The plot is a bit confusing in areas, but I managed to get through those and found this to be a compelling read. I liked the twists and turns, it did keep me on the edge of my seat a few times.

Overall, I liked Dr Susan’s Reign. I would read more from this author in the future.
