THIS BOOK!
I Am Not Ok by K. Lucas has been on my mind since I finished it. I can’t stop thinking about it. I wasn’t prepared for the twists and turns, but wow. I couldn’t set this down. This is one of those books that makes you so frustrated (in the best way) because the shocks just keep coming. And that ending!? You’ll just have to trust me on this because I can’t spoil it.
I loved how realistic Emmie and Ed are. They felt like real people and flipping through their perspectives made it that much easier to get to know them. It also added to the tension and the mystery.
This was my first read from K. Lucas but it won’t be my last. I’m impressed with her writing style. The suspense she weaves throughout this plot is really compelling. It flows at a steady pace, and kept me hooked throughout.
A true psychological thriller! Highly recommended!!!
