Review
This is one of the first books I’ve read centered around the pandemic and lockdown, and it was quite terrifying to read. Especially given the circumstances that Anna faces in this. Cries of Joy is a very compelling thriller covering a failing marriage and domestic abuse.
I really enjoyed this. It was intriguing from the start. The author took what all of us can relate to and turned it into an even more claustrophobic experience. This is one of those thrillers that send chills down your spine.
With great characters, a plot that is hard to stop reading, and writing that engrossed me as a reader, I thoroughly enjoyed Cries of Joy and recommend checking it out.
I recieved a free review copy. All opinions are my own and unbiased.
