Review
When I tell you I screamed when I got the email from R&R Book Tours about The Maze Cutter going on tour… This is SO EXCITING! I’ve am a huge fan of The Maze Runner Series. This series is one of the reasons I became the bookworm I am today. So, to see it continue is so awesome.
Anyway, on to the actual review!
We are introduced to a new set of characters as this is set 73 years after the events of The Death Cure. I think as the series grows, these characters will grow more and as a reader, I will become even more connected to them. It’s hard to part ways with my favorite characters from the original series, so I just have to learn to love their decendents. I liked them a lot though and they have a ton of room to grow from here.
The world building is always interesting in James Dashner’s universe, and that hasn’t changed with The Maze Cutter. This first book sets up what I think will be an incredibly fun new series in a world a lot of us have missed.
I don’t want to spoil this but if you were a fan of The Maze Runner, I think you’ll really enjoy The Maze Cutter. I can’t wait for more! Don’t miss out!
